The existence of this Website owes its origin to my 2009/2010 search for Hindu mandirs, especially this one, Houston’s cousin of a gorgeous mandir in Detroit I visited often.

Since I originally posted this page, the temple has been completed, excepting very minor details, and the outcome is magnificent. The pictures below with the ‘New’ tag were taken in mid-July ’14. The previous pics, such as the ‘In Construction,’ were taken in January ’13.

This organization’s new temple is approaching spectacular. Note that the compound has many working components, including a separate building for more secular events, and a new children’s area.

Within the temple structure, an outside colonnade winds around impressive reliefs. In the first interior recess, a large, impressive wall painting of a key scene in the life of Sri Caitanya greets visitors.
